Isaac Vallentin is a Canadian musician, writer, and media artist. He’s released nine albums since 2015, swerving freely between the traditions of folk, rock, jazz, soul, country, and electronic music. He’s toured extensively throughout Canada, Europe, and Asia, captivating audiences with his insightful lyrics, idiosyncratic guitar playing, and rich baritone voice.

In addition to music, Vallentin has created award-winning posters, album covers, and music videos for hundreds of artists. His visual work has been exhibited around the world and featured in The Guardian, The New York Times, and Vice.

Vallentin currently lives in Pictou, Nova Scotia with his partner, celebrated fibre artist Allyson Rousseau, and their one-year-old daughter. His latest album, Juma (2022), was accompanied by a full-length film and a book of his collected lyrics, published by Folly House.
